Choose the custodian by the type of record:
- Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
- Criminal records and rap sheets: contact the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC)
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the Camden County sheriff's records unit
- Official background checks: order through the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC)
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Record restriction and court sealing: follow the GCIC and court procedures that apply to the arrest cycle
For sheriff, jail, CAD, and sheriff background-check requests, contact the Camden County Sheriff's Office, 209 E. 4th St., Woodbine, GA 31569, 912-510-5100. The county directs these requests to the CCSO NextRequest portal.
